ADSL modem for Windows Vista

Can someone recommend a not too expensive ADSL modem that works with
windows vista?

I have just bought a new computer that works fine apart from it can't
connect to the internet using the voyager modem that works perfectly
with my old XP computer & ADSL acceses via the telephone line.

Why not just get new drivers? http://www.voyager.bt.com/

Actually some of them just aren't Vista compatible at all. It's probably
best to go for a router rather than a modem. They're usually pretty easy to
set up and have a lot more features (you don't need to dial up when you want
to go online for a start). Just make sure you get one for BT or ADSL rather
than a cable or "broadband" one. You also need to make sure your computer
has a network port, but most do these days.
