Every packet of toothpaste I've looked at in the major supermarkets in
Britain contains the artifical sweetener sodium saccharin. This is
banned in Canada and used to have to carry a warning in the US.

I'm big enough to know that I've got to brush my teeth even without
the incentive of toothpaste being sweetened.

Can someone tell me of some toothpaste that doesn't contain this
stuff?

It would be good if it didn't contain fluoride too, which still can't
be included in toothpaste in the US except with a health warning.

Ditto artificial colours, such as CI42090, used in blue toothpastes,
banned in some of the other countries in Europe.

Shit-free toothpaste... Recommendations please!

I've been told that Tom's of Maine does not have any artificial sweeteners
or fluoride. I read that Tom's also makes another toothpaast with Fluoride.

I've also been looking for a natural toothpaste, so I am going to give Tom's
a try.

Good Luck!!! I hope you can buy it in Great Britain!!!

Hello,
I've been using Miessence Mint Toothpaste ( they also have Lemon and Anise )for a few years now and it's a GREAT product. You're right, is so hard to find pure and healthy products in our days. As you'll notice most of the ingredients in this toothpaste are CERTIFIED ORGANIC. You can find the Mint Toothpaste at https://www.miessence.com/care4organics/en/category/3/body-oral-care or you can go to www.care4organics.com website and access products/body oral care. I hope it works for you, it's one of the healthiest toothpastes you can find on the market.

Squiggle or I prefer Jason Sea Fresh. Artificial sweetners cause mouth ulcers for me. Toothpaste with none saves me a lot of pain! In US I order Jason from Puritan's Pride
