Don't throw your old 'phone books away.

Recently I needed the country code for Thailand and I looked in the
'phone book for it. I was surprised not to be able to find country
codes in the book

The Phone Book, 2011/2012

but I did find them in

The Phone Book, 2009/10.

Returning to the first-mentioned work, I found that one may buy the
country codes as a separate publication! The cheek of it. If, like me,
you accumulate about five years of 'phone books and then throw out all
the old ones when the next new one appears, you may like to check that
you are not throwing away information that, should you need it in the
future, you will have to pay for.

Way too late but the phone book used to have post codes in it as well.
