Contacting Amazon
(too old to reply)

Amazon have sent me an old edition of a book instead of the latest
edition that I ordered. Where can I send an e-mail to complain? What I
don't want to do (yet) is go through their returns rigmarole. If I do
that I'll need to return what I've got before they'll send the right
item, and I don't trust them to do that.

It's easy to contact amazon through their web site.

Why not? It's the easiest way of sorting the problem out.

IIRC under UK law you do not have to send the old item back and they
should send you the correct one straight away (you do have to make the
incorrect item available for collect). However, enforcing this would
be difficult and not worth it IMHO.

(='.'=) Due to the amount of spam posted via googlegroups and
(")_(") their inaction to the problem. I am blocking most articles
posted from there. If you wish your postings to be seen by
everyone you will need use a different method of posting.

Easy? I can find neither an e-mail address nor a paper mail address on
their baroque web site.
