Plenty. There are local groups for most areas on Facebook, and other
Freecycle-like mailing list systems. In fact, the biggest, Freegle, is
larger (and better organised) than Freecycle in the UK.

What's the difference between Freecycle and Freegle? The latter looks
like it works in exactly the same way, even down to using a yahoo
groups mailing list! It's the mailing list approach that lets
Freecycle down IMHO, because many people abuse the process.

OTOH there are a huge number of UK freecycle groups including one for
the town nearest to me.
