[OT-ish rant] Camden Council officials

Are they all as rude, obstructive, condescending, insulting,
anal-retentive, and generally Vogon-like, as the two I have
had the misfortune to have to deal with during the last few
months (about two different matters)? It's not as if I even
live in Camden, or have given them any trouble, or even had
any dealings with them before. Also, the officials of my own
local council, Greenwich, have always been OK - with just two
exceptions, both of whom I've also had to deal with recently
- it's been a trying few months! Perhaps Councils generally
are getting worse, or (Occam's Razor) I'm finally losing my
marbles - which is certainly how I feel, after trying to have
a rational conversation with that Camden official today. 8-P

Most council staff are only interested in the weekly pay packet
they just do not give a damn about the residents they are dealing
with on the other hand when we moved districts back in Feb..
I got a pleasant surprise Hyndburn council in east Lancashire could
not have been more efficient and helpful we are both disabled they
sent round a charming lady to fill all the claim forms in four us
which she did she took away our tenancy agreement saying would be
returned within two days and it was. In four days we had a letter
saying how much rent they would be paying for us and when we would
receive the first chouse the chouse arrived on the due date like all
the rest have since . refuge collection is perfect like street
cleaning which is done without fail twice a week and I have been
treated with nothing but curtsy when ever I have the need to contact
them . I know some councils are dreadful my old council was ( South
Ribble) they would do absolutely nothing when you called them they
gave the impression that they just could not be bothered .
