Does anyone know where to buy those woolly hats with the 'pigtails' at
the sides, that seem to be fashionable at present, and that I have
heard being called Eskimo Hats? There are lots of people wearing them,
but I've never seen any in the shops I've been to, including one or
two that people recommended. I'm in Leicester, if anyone knows of a
local shop.

It'll be useful to tie the pigtails together to keep the hat on.

Go on eBay and do a search for "Peruvian Hat"...

Enjoy!

Or, find a media student or tv crew and mug them. They don't wear
Russian hats anymore so you should be safe.

I see you can now buy baseball caps, specifically designed for chavs,
with the peak permanently offset 45 degrees to the right!

I thought they were for skateboarders!

;-)

To the original poster, you often see these hats in camping and ski shops.
I'm not sure they are "the must have" fashion just now- they seem to be a
"must have" a few years back for the outdoor types.

Great music to celebrate a great University and City

Now your amateur licence is free, why not send at least £15 per year to
support the
Radio Communications Foundation or STELAR?

About forty years ago if I recall, had one then but once half the
hippy crowd started to wear them the 'outdoor types' stopped. Then you
had to travel to get one, or at least know someone who did :-)

Actually, they'd be very useful for playing tennis in, especially at this
time of year when the sun is low and coming from the side. Make them
reversible and you could wear them at the other end of the court too.

If you were cool enough to pull it off, you'd already know where to get
them!

I first saw these in North Yorkshire just a few weeks ago. My first thought
was, I don't think you would get very far down Sauchiehall street in the
evening wearing that!!!!

Jeremy wore one on the last series of "Peep Show". One of the funniest
programmes on TV IMO.

I think the intention there was to make him look silly, which is
why its surprising they caught on so well.
