Recommended sites for DVDs?

I'm an old fogey who has just received his first DVD player as a
Christmas present. I've ordered some DVDs from Amazon and HMV
(both of whom I've previously used for CDs and been happy with),
and from Play.com (of whom I have a vaguely good impression, but
don't seem to have bought anything from before). Does anyone have
any recommendations of other online shops worth considering for
DVD purchases? And are there any price comparison sites which
are as good for DVDs as BookBrain <http://www.bookbrain.co.uk/>
is for books? While I'm about it, what about CDs? Would the
recommended sites for CDs generally be the same as for DVDs?

Hi Angus, the best price comparison site for DVDs and CDs is, in my
experience, http://www.find-dvd.co.uk/.
For books, I use http://www.find-book.co.uk/ . Happy hunting!

Hi Angus, the best price comparison site for DVDs and CDs is, in my
experience, http://www.find-dvd.co.uk/.
This looks very useful. It quickly found all the cheapest prices
for DVDs that I had already found by more laborious means.
(I haven't tried using it for CDs yet.)

For books, I use http://www.find-book.co.uk/ .
This also looks very useful, because it searches more sites than
BookBrain. However, I will still turn to the latter site first,
because its search includes The Book Depository:
<http://www.bookdepository.co.uk/>
which often has the cheapest prices, and always packs its books
well (unlike Amazon these days, I'm afraid, although I'm a great
fan of Amazon in general), and always sends them via Royal Mail,
which I prefer.
