Is the bloke on that advert the Japanese guy from the Quincy TV series?

I'm more interested in the yellow thing itself. What is the point? I have
never seen anyone transmit a four colour program so what is the problem and
how can it be better?

I seem to recall some chat about printing in olour that had some pros and
cons between different ways to achieve it, but screens?

They don't even transmit 3 colours - they only send red-diff, blue-diff and
luma, if they can matrix 3 colours out of 2 why not 4?

But they only need three, so it all seems completely daft to me.

Not if it costs less to add than they can charge extra for the "snazzy
feature".
