Do the security tags on Morrisons booze bottles have one of those tiny 12V
car keyfob batteries in them?

There's a semi-cylindrical bulge on the back of the plastic moulding - I
think there's a battery in there.

Looks like a sealed for life assembly, they just throw it away when the
battery runs out.

In large quantities they're probably only a few bob each and save a fortune
in shoplifted booze.

No. Passive RFID tags have no inbuilt stored power but are energised
by the interrogator loop.
